7 Ways To Add Happiness To Your Life!
“Every morning you have two choices when you wake up. Continue to live in a world you’re not happy with or put a smile on your face and find joy in every day!” Nobody can make this decision but you. Within each person there are things to be thankful for and things in which we have regret. It is your choice which area you choose to dwell in.
There are 7 rules to happiness to guide you along the way:
1) You need to take good care of your health. If you are not feeling good, then it is very hard to enjoy everything life has to offer. Be sure to eat healthy and visit your doctor regularly. The better you feel physically the better you will feel about life.
2) Being thankful for the things you have in your life. Gratitude is a powerful emotion that will help you gain friends, appreciate your blessings and bring joy into your day.
3) Forgive people of any wrong doings that have happened. Holding onto a grudge or anger is harder on you than it is the person you feel it towards. It is one of the worst emotions we can have to destroy our happiness. Forgiving someone sets us on the path to happiness and peace. You also must forgive yourself for anything you blame yourself for. Anything done in the past is over and it is time to move on.
4) You must respect yourself. It is important to like yourself and be okay with the choices you are making. You reach a peace about where you are.
5) Surround yourself with people that make you feel good about yourself and bring out the best in you. Remove the negative influences and people that bring you down.
6) Become more optimistic about every situation. If you try and look at situations with the positive out look you will start to feel better about things in your life. You are training your brain to feel positive.
7) Smile, if you put a smile on your face and smile at others they will smile back. You will start to feel better about everything within no time. Studies have shown that id you smile it increase serotonin in your brain.
